$140 | 50 minutes
accepting virtual clients in Kansas
Like most specialty therapists, I primarily work with clients on a private pay basis. Paying out of pocket offers the greatest privacy, control, and flexibility.
For those who prefer to use insurance, I am also an in-network provider with BlueCross BlueShield and Aetna.
how does it all work?

Sessions are $140 for 50 minutes.
Payments are accepted within the secure client portal, Simple Practice. You will be able to upload one of the following methods of payment: Credit Card, Debit Card, HSA/FSA Card.

Our first session is about getting to know you-why you're coming, what you've been experiencing, and what you'd like to be different.
From there, we'll take a closer look at your personal history and current life. This helps us understand the patterns and pressures shaping your experience, and gives us a foundation to decide our plan for treatment and where to focus our work together.
Once we have that direction, we'll shift into the regular rhythm of therapy. You'll bring in what's been on your mind or showing up in your life lately, and we'll work together to see how it connects to the bigger picture of what you're wanting to change.
-
Friends and family can be a great source of comfort, but therapy offers something different. In our work together, you'll have a confidential space where you can say what you really think and feel-without worrying about judgment, rejection, or hurting the relationship. I also bring specialized training and a structured approach designed to help you notice patterns, explore your experience more deeply, and work toward lasting change.

If I am not in-network with your insurance, you may be eligible to use out-of-network benefits depending on your insurance plan. You will be responsible for paying for each session in full at time of appointment. If requested, I can provide a super bill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
If your deductible is met out-of-network benefits can provide reimbursement for 50-80% of the cost of each session.
It is not guaranteed that your insurance companies will accept the super bill or provide a reimbursement. If this is an important factor in your decision for therapy, please check with your insurance company first. I can send you my license number and national provider number to check with your insurance.

I use tele-health because it makes therapy more accessible and consistent. Meeting virtually can help you fit sessions into your life more easily, which keeps the momentum of our work going. You can join sessions from home, work, or wherever you feel comfortable—without worrying about travel time or rearranging your day. That flexibility means we can keep our work consistent, which is key to making progress.
The quality of the relationship between therapist and client are a shared understanding of the work are the biggest factors in whether therapy works—and that doesn’t change online. My relational approach is designed to create a strong, engaged connection, even through a screen.
Sessions are held through SimplePractice, a secure and confidential platform built for therapy.

I work with clients at least once a week. Meeting less often usually turns sessions into “catch-up” conversations, which can slow progress and make therapy take longer.
Therapy isn’t like most conversations—it’s a different way of talking, listening, and relating. It takes consistent engagement to settle into that process and keep the work moving forward.
-
There’s no set timeline. The therapeutic process requires slowing down, consistency, and commitment to create lasting change. The type of outcome we are working towards is the kind that has a cumulative effect— where continued growth happens after treatment has ended.
We’ll check in periodically about what’s working and where you want to go next.
