I didn’t come to this work because I had answers. I came because certain questions wouldn’t leave me alone.

Questions about why some things repeat.

Why effort doesn’t always change what matters.

Why understanding can feel honest and still not be enough.

I’ve known what it’s like to keep going while something underneath stayed unsettled—functional on the outside, yet caught by unresolved questions. What I was looking for—and what still holds my attention—wasn’t a fix, but a way of staying with those questions that couldn’t be put aside.

I’m committed to this work not because I’ve arrived somewhere, but because I haven’t. It doesn’t offer a map I can hand to someone else. The work keeps opening questions I can’t answer in advance. Something real happens when people are willing to speak honestly without knowing where it will lead.

I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the CACREP-accredited program at George Fox University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Kansas.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in athletics and business—experiences that continue to shape how I listen and work with people. My training is in psychodynamic theory and techniques, grounded in listening and change through sustained conversation.
